RSC conceptually and on paper is a great approach to build UI for the future. Your UI component is only one layer which could access your database, your load balancer, your DNS and everything is blended together between frontend and backend. But as we have seen lately, it is no longer the technology we hoped for, too many critical CVEs, too much overhead and many devs are switching back to the classical RESTFUL API frontend model and they are right for this.
